BRAX relies on PLM GoLive

We are delighted that another long-standing customer of ours has successfully introduced our PLM system – the Herford fashion company Leineweber with its brands BRAX, Eurex, Raphaela and BRAX Golf has been working with PLM GoLive since the beginning of the year, taking another big step towards digitalization.

With PLM.GoLive, Leineweber now controls, manages and networks its entire development process – from article planning to the handover and production. The practice-proven reference process of PLM GoLive was adapted to BRAX’s individual requirements, and the perfection with which products are developed in the company is also reflected in the new process. Since January 2018, around 250 of Leineweber’s 1,250 employees have been working with the PLM system, which has replaced several of BRAX’s internal tools and brought together data that had previously been managed in different places.

BRAX has been using Assyst software solutions for several years now. The pattern cutting system CAD.Assyst was integrated with PLM.GoLive. All the information stored in CAD.Assyst, like material quantities and different cut pieces flows into BOMs (bills of material) then into the calculation. The company’s own sizes chart is also stored in PLM from the outset, making it available for production and quality assurance. The next integration is also in the planning pipeline: BRAX and Assyst are currently working to introduce a link between PLM and the 3D simulation software Vidya. This will mean that photorealistic samples of a garment will be integrated into the process at an early stage, achieving yet another quality level.
